Legacy Videos
Some stories deserve more than a photograph.
Legacy videos are about preserving the voices, memories and reflections of the people who shaped your life. The stories you’ve heard a hundred times, the lessons that stay with you, and the moments that define a generation.
It begins with a conversation to understand what matters to you the most.
Filming is a relaxed discussion that allows your memories to unfold naturally. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s authenticity.
With a careful approach to filming, lighting and sound, the final film feels intimate, natural and timeless.
Because memories fade, but a stories, when captured well, last.
How it started
How much knowledge has been lost between generations?
In a fast-paced, modern world we take short videos on our phone and expect that to be enough for us to record that moment forever. But is it enough?
I lost my father when I was 17 years old and recently found an old VHS of his 50th birthday party. Whilst I did remember his face and mannerisms, I realised I’d forgotten his voice and I wished I had more footage of him just talking. About his life, his thoughts, his favourite meal.
So I created the Legacy Video to preserve the voices, stories and spirit of the people who matter most.
